{"id":146,"date":"2014-06-25T12:28:11","date_gmt":"2014-06-25T11:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.datashine.org.uk\/?p=146"},"modified":"2014-08-07T12:36:57","modified_gmt":"2014-08-07T11:36:57","slug":"datashine-website-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.datashine.org.uk\/2014\/06\/datashine-website-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"DataShine Website updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DataShine has been out for around a week now, and we&#8217;ve made some changes to fix small bugs.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DataShine should work much better in Internet Explorer 9 now, as we now prompt this browser to use compatibility mode, with which the website displays correctly.<\/li>\n<li>When showing a dataset that diverges around the mean, we always switched to the red\/green divergent colour set, even if another colour set was specified in the URL. We now keep track of this and other manually specified colour changes, and stop the auto-changing in these cases.<\/li>\n<li>We truncate long category names more aggressively now, so that they don&#8217;t spill out of the end of the data chooser even in browsers that use larger text for drop-downs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DataShine has been out for around a week now, and we&#8217;ve made some changes to fix small bugs.
